Winter comes and you're driving down the road in your warm Vanagon when you hit a bump in the road and suddenly your front heater fan cuts out. Seized heater fans are a normal problem for the Vanagon. After 25 years or more these fans just need replacing. It’s a big job that requires removing the dashboard.
